Well, I've been thinking hard about this one... The last time they played a great team (Shelby Valley), I predicted a 30-point win for the Lions. I suspect that Coach Mayes saw my thoughts and overlooked SV. Thus, he didn't come out with a good gameplan and Elliott fell behind early. I'm going to be proactive in this game and go ahead and say:

Mason 105

Elliott 70

You don't believe that

Ok, I can't even pretend to go against my Lions. I fully expect a very back-and-forth, hard fought game. I like Mason from a coaching standpoint, but I like Elliott from a player's standpoint. I would give the bench advantage to Mason, but the FT shooting and homecourt to Elliott, obviously. I expect a battle with Elliott winning in the last minute. The keys to the game for Mason will be guard play against Elliott's pressure, taking the crowd out of it, and controlling Elliott's outside shooting. Elliott's keys will be slowing down Mason's interior play, not letting Mason's best shooters get hot, making open shots, and keeping the pressure on for the full 32 minutes.

I'll go with:

Elliott 82

Mason 78

One final key that I'll add - Elliott cannot get down double figures early in this one or they'll be in a hole they can't get out of.

Hey Elliott fans can i get a little help please? How do you get to EC gym from Maysville,And on a serious note what time would you say i should get there to be assured to get in the gym? Thanks in advance.

Heard from a reliable source from the that doors will open up at 430 and the first 1000 fans that are in attendance will be granted seats. There will be no pre-sale of tickets. My guess is you better leave right now to secure your spot in line mhighfield cause it is gonna be crazy.

If you Mason Co fans have not been to Sandy Hook you are in for a treat. Gym is small and the EC faithful will be out in full force. If you don't get there really early, the gym will be all maroon with little of the Royal blue to be seen. I would love to attend this game. Best of luck to both teams.

Everyone needs to wear short sleeves and good deoderant, cause it's gonna get heated!!!!:ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper:

After the drubbing EC got in the Fieldhouse last year I would say they are wanting some pay back

But I think MC by 1

:thumb: I agree, but Im leaning Elliott in a close one.

Should have moved this game to Winchester..............EC would have had a lot more fans.:D And Masons fans would have loved it!

I normally play basketball myself on Tuesday nights, but I may have to sit home tonight and get a back-to-back Elliott/UK extravaganza
