UK/Georgetown, UK/KU and the Vandy game from last year are all really close.

 

UK/G'town is probably the worst because of how it went and what was on the line. We were just plain bad in last year's game with Vandy and we were a shell of a team against Kansas in that blowout.

When UK lost to Vandy last year at Vandy. I do not remember the score, but it was around 40.

Umm, without a doubt mine too.

UC against OSU a couple years back. Or Memphis... Both were so bad. This year against Marquette was bad too...

 

 

What about the game when kenyon broke his leg, or any of those Shootout losses when we were #1?

 

Also the loss in the NCAA Tournament when WVU beat us on a half court bank shot.

The game was played on a Saturday and was over in the early evening. I just went to bed after the game.

Did we lose to Auburn on Sr. Night in the late 80's once? I may be mistaken, but that one sticks out in my mind.

:puke: Against St. Louis, I remember coming home from school, seeing it, and wanting to throw up. Horrible. Or when McNamara hit that freaking shot that ended up knocking us out of the the tournament when Syracuse won the BEast tourney...

UK/UNC '95 Regional Final.

UK didn't lose a Senior Night game from '62 till '97.

 

The Auburn game you might be thinking of was when we were #1 in '88 and lost on a John Caylor jumper. Chapman's last year along with Winston Bennett and Ed Davender.

UK vs. Georgetown because the title was in the grasp. UK dominated Half one but Georgetown dominated the 2nd half even more.

 

 

UK vs. LSU in '87 (33 point loss or something like that at Rupp)

 

UK vs. Kansas in the '90 season. (55 points ?)

 

UK vs. Vandy last year.

 

 

 

One other to nominate would have been Middle TN State over UK 50-44 in the first round of the NCAA. Derrick Hord goes 0-16 or something like that. Dream Game I is postponed until the next year.

That is the game for me. I was going to college in Indiana, watching the game with a bunch of my Indiana college buddies, and you can imagine the ripping I got. Just horrible. UK couldn't buy a basket that 2nd half.

The worst loss for me as a Duke fan was when Duke played Indiana at Rupp and I decided at the last minute to stay home instead of losing a week's worth of pay to be there and watching Jason Williams, Carlos Boozer, and Mike Dunleavy's last game when they choked away a huge lead to Indiana when they were supposed to repeat as National Champs. That is the closest I have come to crying and I was so confused and befuddled because it was so sad to see Jason William's career at Duke end that way(him missing the free throw after getting fouled while shooting and making a 3 while Duke was down 4) but he NEVER should have missed that free throw being the great player that he was. He was at best an average free throw shooter, but I'll never forget that pain. EVER. And it was in Rupp. Too many bad memories.......:puke:

I was there for that....I also watched an unkown Antonio Gates being a monster that weekend.
