January 31, 200917 yr Classic overreaction by a lot of you. It's definitely a bad loss, but there is still some time to get momentum in February. I will be shocked if UK loses at USC. Live in fastasy world all you want but this team is not that good. UK along with the rest of the SEC stinks. Theres just no nice way around it.
January 31, 200917 yr The biggest thing for me is they are starting to get hammered on the boards. That is not a good thing. They played a very big team at times today. 28 more shots is hard to overcome.
January 31, 200917 yr UK is lacking the Art of Boxing out...:isurrender: A lot of the rebounds are due to Patterson and Stevenson having to help so much when the other guys get beat off the dribble. When you can't guard the player with the ball, you may have to consider a zone.

Give BCG and me a break. It takes time this is only year 2 and all you can do is take steps forward. I would venture to say that this UK team is better then last years.
January 31, 200917 yr UK just don't have many offensive threats. Meeks, Patterson and sometimes Miller and that's about it. Shut Meeks down and it's hard for UK to win. Just don't have the shooters.
January 31, 200917 yr Someone said on here the other day that UK would have the two best players on the court the rest of the year. That was not the case today. Not saying he is better but just as good. Downey was unreal in the 2nd half, he was the best player overall today. He made so many tough shots that I lost count, plus he created most of the opportunities for his teammates.
January 31, 200917 yr A few things about this game that really upset me: It’s starting to feel like I’m watching UK football, were I always know that we will find a way to lose a game that we should win. I have to cheer for Tennessee tonight. Our point guard play, or lack there of.
