These are the games that can cost you in the end, I only hope that the Cats can get it togather will soon if they have a chance to see any NCAA post season at all.Time will tell as the next few games will tell the story on this season team.GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 2, 200917 yr Well I haven't read the whole thread, but just my thoughts on the game is UK for the 2nd game in a row did not play very good defense and gave up way too many offensive boards to South Carolina. I have been very optimistic about Kentucky for the past month because I really felt like we could lock people down defensively and didn't hav to score a ton of points to win. But our defense has really took a step backwards. Our offense played pretty well Saturday, but defensively we just didn't get the stops. If UK isn't a great defensive team then we aren't top 25 team. Now, as for South Carolina, they really played well and played hard. Downey an Fredericks both had huge games and deserve credit. Now as for the officiating. I thought it was awful. As a fan I was so upset that the refs simply would not call walking on South Carolina. It was so obvious on a lot of occasions. But UK got away with some walks too. The refs did a very poor job calling some fairly easy traveling calls IMO.
