I was one of the few people that actually really DID need to go and I held off. I drove by the lot and almost every parking spot was full. Did you really HAVE to go today or was it because of the snow. I really did need food but I can find something else to eat and wait until the madness is gone.

Yep, but getting paid once a month, we hadn't been accept for small stuff since 12/23.

Payday goes in at midnight tonight.

Thanks for being there! I used to work in a grocery store and I feel your pain.

Went, got home, put everything up and realized we were dangerously low on puppy food and dog food. Went back out for the pets.

Monday is my grocery day, so I went as usual. Store was packed. Oddly enough, I can only remember once in the last 15 years when we were stuck more than a day in the house.

I went but all I got was beer. Got to have something to do if I'm going to be snowed in. :lol:

I did...because I had the day off work and its a 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery. I seriously was out of milk...I did have plenty of bread, though!

I voted no, but had I needed to, it would have had to have been DESPERATE to do so.

I stopped at the store on my way back into town this morning. I have memories from Christmas a few years ago.
