But, he is good. Not great, but good. I disagree with your assessment of "high" DI talent. I think he is a solid MAC choice, maybe low-end Big Ten/Big East. Nothing more.

They are throwing it quite a bit now. They should be solid, but I think they'll have a hard time replacing the left side of their OL...

Their QB Miller was 27/50 in the state game for 399 yards. He is back and he will have his key reciever back in O'Conner. I believe they have a few lineman back as well. Should be a very powerfull offense.

They lost LT Bujnoch (UC) and LG Anevski (Miami-OH) to graduation. Both were 3 star recruits at Rivals...

It is all going to come down to your defensive line play. For Trinity to be successful, they are going to have to get pressure on the QB (Miller) and force him out of the pocket. He is a good QB but no where near as good as his great receivers and OL made him look this past season. When pressured, he made mistakes and can't run well at all.

 

However, that being said, he is smart and doesn't make DUMB mistakes. Elder will be replacing their ENTIRE OL next year and that has proven troublesome in the past. By week 3, they should be beginning to gel so I'm not sure how good, or bad, they'll be.

 

They will be a favorite to win Region 4 (Cincy/Dayton) and potentially return to the Title game.

Thanks. Trinity loses 19 starters, many of whom were 2 or 3 year starters:

 

Its entire defense, 3 o-linemen, qb, rb and top 3 receivers so this game may not be pretty for the Green.

Yeah, I don't think this game bodes well for us at that point in the season.

Ought to be a tough matchup for the Rocks, with all they are losing this year. I would love to play the Ohio schools around game 8 and not so early in the season.

 

 

I tend to agree with that sentiment. Unless we have some returning starters on offense I would like to see us play a big out of state school later. That way more of the offense will be in place and the new QB and his WRs will have a chance to actually know more of it.
