Yeah, I don't think this game bodes well for us at that point in the season.

Colerain might have something to say about that with the loaded talent that they return.

 

I agree though, great match up.

 

It also said that Elder has weeks 1, 2, 8, and 9 open as well. With Holmes moving down to 4A, this might set up a Highlands-Elder match up in the Herbie.

 

I sure hope so. Elder is going to have possibly their best team ever next season. I am hearing this from some entrenched Elder folks. I also think the Birds will have one of their best teams in a very long time.

 

I am glad to see Trinity taking on the challenge and traveling to the Pitt. I will definitely go see this one.

I am sure they will re-load with the 1100 + boys they have down there. They seem to every year. Should be a great experience for the Rocks.

Another chance for OH football to claim supremecy by defeating a "KY Large School State Champ"...... which would be a mid size school in OH.

 

When my nephew graduated from Elder 3-4 years back I believe they had about 1000 boys which would make them smaller than Trinity.

Ive heard he was really good. His pops played at Newport and was a good player himself.

Exactly. Trinity is about the size of Cincy St. X. I was suprised that Elder and La Salle are comparable in size.
