See the surrounding streets around the PIT... Figure it out because that's where you will have to park. The PIT isn't the best venue for parking, but it works. I have no clue where they put 10,000 people worth of cars at..

 

Traffic is HORRIBLE as well after games. I had a cousin who played on Elder's 02 and 03 state championship teams and went to several of his games and I can remember it always taking atleast an hour to get out of there after the game.

VEry impressive facility. No question about "the Big Time."

That's good that Trinity will play anyone. Elder has already played almost everyone. The GCL has been playing top competition form around the country since Gerry Faust began playing teams from Texas, Hawaii, New York and more back in the '70's. They all came here though as the OHSAA had a 300 mile out of state travel restriction. Not sure if that still exists or not.

 

By the way. Bring your seat cushion since the stadium seats are concrete steps. The Pit officially holds 10,000 fans. But Elder people claim to have had over 15,000 there for some games back in the day.

Really don't know when they open the gates. But if you look in the picture, the entire stands in front of the press box all the way to about midway through the endzone is season ticket holders only. That leaves roughy about 2500 to 3500 seats remaining. It will definately be a pack house that night. Ramsey will be reminding his boys that week that nobody and i mean nobody will come across the river from Kentucky and beat them in the PIT. I hope the Shamrocks can do it, but they will find out it won't be a easy task.

I almost forgot something. You think games in Louisville get loud. You guys are in for a treat at the PIT. It is definately one of my favorite places to watch a High School football game. The Cov-Cath boys have nothing on the boys from Price Hill.

I would not trade it for anything. Not to state the obvious or "put too fine a point on it" - but I really feel \ think it goes a long way toward explaining the uncanny "Playoff Phenomem" against another certain local team.

They handled Cincy X environment pretty well on 07. They'll be pumped!!

It is all going to come down to your defensive line play. For Trinity to be successful, they are going to have to get pressure on the QB (Miller) and force him out of the pocket. He is a good QB but no where near as good as his great receivers and OL made him look this past season. When pressured, he made mistakes and can't run well at all.

 

However, that being said, he is smart and doesn't make DUMB mistakes. Elder will be replacing their ENTIRE OL next year and that has proven troublesome in the past. By week 3, they should be beginning to gel so I'm not sure how good, or bad, they'll be.

 

They will be a favorite to win Region 4 (Cincy/Dayton) and potentially return to the Title game.

Its entire defense, 3 o-linemen, qb, rb and top 3 receivers so this game may not be pretty for the Green.

Elder handled this group pretty well when they played as Freshmen. It will be interesting to see who's grown and developed the most.

I love your confidence. Why do you thing the Rocks will win by ten at The Pit? Players, coaching, tradition?
