Yea about that. They didn't even make it half way to 40. Gotta love that SEC speed. I love how biased alot of us SEC fan are though, we have no idea what we're talking about sometimes.

Ahh, as I mentioned in the pregame thread, Texas held them to 35 thank you and put up 45 on them. :thumb:

 

However this Texas fan believes Florida is the best team this year. Congrats to the Gators. :thumb:

The only bad thing about this game was Tom Brennamen's extreme man crush- I have literally never heard anything like it:

 

"If you spend 5 or 20 minutes with Tim Tebow, you are a better person"

"Unquestionably the greatest football player and leader in America"

"Is that penalty the first thing that he has ever done in his life?"

 

I mean, I like Tebow, but that is ridiculous. I think that Brennamen broke the 6th commandment solely through his words.

Congrats to Trinity grad Sam Robey who has now won 4 titles in a row (3 KY State Championships and 1 National Championship).

Once again you proved who the real "Elite" conference is.

As a big time Florida fan really loved the outcome of the game. Will give credit to Oklahoma defense. There defense was better than I had figured. For all you Utah, Texas, and USC fans only wish for a playoff to really see who is best but for now GO GATORS.

That's pretty cool CR. Since Rick won a National Championship at UK when they beat Duke in 78', I wonder how many fathers and sons have won National championships. I bet there aren't many.

Where are the people predicting a Florida blowout? Oklahoma was clearly second best but given the circumstances and playing what was basically a Florida home game I think they deserve some respect. It is a shame Florida had the one loss as they certainly could have been mentioned with the all time top teams otherwise.

Tebow made several clutch plays, but the biggest play of the game was the INT by the Gator DB when it appeared OU was driving for the go-ahead score. Both defenses played well in this game.

And there are still a TON of coaches who would love to say that they even got to the title game.

 

SEC wins it's 3rd straight national title. Impressive.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this one. I'm not a Florida fan, but it is impossible to not root for Tebow. He's the real deal, a class guy on and off the field.

 

How can you root against a guy that has spent time in a leper colony?

If Florida played Utah next weekend, what would be the outcome?

I was a little suprised at the outcome of this game. My hats off to the Florida defense, who never let OU get into an offensive rhythm after halftime.
