January 8, 200917 yr :confused: Since 2000 Utah has been pretty impressive. I wouldn't say they are with the USC's and the Oklahoma's, but they have been pretty dang impressive. Sine 2000 Utah is 7-0 in bowl games, with wins over USC, Pittsburgh(Fiesta Bowl), they gave it to G. Tech in 2005, and of course their huge win over Alabama this season. Utah has been very impressive over those years, they could be in the talk IMO.
January 8, 200917 yr Since 2000 I would say... USC- uh......duh LSU- two titles since '03, kinda fall off from time to time. But, no one else has won 2 championship GAMES in that time. OSU- Simply win every season though they lose to OOC's Texas- Have won atleast 10 games for like 100 years running it seems. For #5 take your pick of UF or OU. I say OU if they win tommorrow. January 8, 200917 yr 1. USC 2. Fla 3. Tex 4. LSU 5. Okl LSU and USC have had the most wins I'm pretty sure and 2 titles for LSU. That is the past. If I were listing where I feel like programs are going forward I would say: 1. USC 2. Tex 3. Fla (they would be ahead of Texas if Tebow stayed and McCoy wasn't) 4. OSU 5. Okl
January 8, 200917 yr I'm somewhat surprised that through 24 posts, no one has even mentioned Virginia Tech, yet Utah has been mentioned. In the past 10 seasons, they have 100 wins, averaging 10 per season. I'm not saying they deserve to be up there with USC, Texas, etc, but they should get a mention before Utah.
January 8, 200917 yr Oklahoma seems to be on everyone's list, and rightfully so. However, they have lost their last 4 BCS games, although you obviously have to be a successful program to get in these games in the first place. Lost 2 years ago to Boise State; lost last year by a bunch to West Virginia. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but a beat-down at the hands of Florida won't help the perception that they should be included among the true elite programs.

January 9, 200917 yr 2 undefeated seasons in the last 5 years, as well as two BCS wins...there's not 5 other programs that can say that. If you made it 6 years, then you throw USC into that statistic. And USC's non-undefeated seasons were better.
