Eagles 44 Cowboys 6

Featured Replies

I know that, just saying I am sticking with my pick. The Eagles looked down and out, and they are one of the hottest teams going into the post season..

While the Eagles won big today, they did just lose to the Redskins last week. I wouldn't be surprised if they lay an egg next week.

I am a lifetime Cowboy fan and never have I felt good after a defeat but, if this leads to Jones cleaning house then the defeat was worth it.

About as embarassed as I've been as a Dallas fan. Most underachieving team in history probably. They have the talent. Need the leadership + discipline IMO. Injuries/schedule were tough but missed tackles, wrong routes, early snaps guys wussing out on contact can't be tolerated. I'm dissapointed but I know they have the nucleus in place to be really good the next few years. Romo gets all the heat. I think he deserves some but I think his WR's/Oline/RB protection let him down more than people realize. Tackling was really bad the last few games. Don't think Phillips is the guy for the job and I'm always hesitant to point a finger at the coach.

Eagles are better than they get credit for. They can beat any team in the NFL on a given night. I still don't think they have the run game to go all the way. Happy for McNabb for showing up vs the fickle fans in Philly. Like Reid too!

Philly has the kind of defense that if you get behind they will beat you to death which is what they did today. I love how aggresive Jim Johnson's defenses are.

No excuses for Dallas, 13 pro bowlers and not even a sniff of the playoffs. I can't say I feel bad for Jerry Jones and his crew.

I don't like the Eagles at all but if they had to win, then I am glad they beat Dallas (and that is bc of T.O. ad Jerry Jones).

You can't spell "Toxic" without a T-O. :D. The Cowboys will never win a title with T.O. on that team. JMO

That's pretty funny! Kudos:thumb:

Every team in the playoffs has a shot.

Where's the captain....

Pathetic.

No Yankees in the MLB playoffs; no Cowboys in the NFL playoffs. 2008 rocks! cloud-9-039.gif

This game was over when Romo threw the pick towards the end of the 2nd quarter.

I agree...but it didn't look like that was entirely his fault. Seemed the WR might have ran the wrong route.

I agree, it looked like a timing route to me and Romo's timing was off as well as the route that Williams ran. I think they both blew it.

For Roy to be complaining he sure played like garbage yesterday! Dropped balls, half way run routes etc.

The Cowboys will never win with Romo under center. He's terrible. He's about as useful in big games as Shayne Graham is in clutch situations....
I remember hearing the same garbage about Peyton Manning.
