December 29, 200817 yr Yes but he certainly doesn't deserve all of the blame like some on here would have you think. He gets a lot of the credit when they win, doesn't he? Is that unfair also?
December 29, 200817 yr He gets a lot of the credit when they win, doesn't he? Is that unfair also? No one player should ever get all of the credit for a win or loss in football. It's a team game.
December 29, 200817 yr No one player should ever get all of the credit for a win or loss in football. It's a team game. You are right. The Cowboys simply aren't a good team.
December 29, 200817 yr You are right. The Cowboys simply aren't a good team. They are poorly coached imo and have bad chemistry. They have as much talent as any team in the NFL, to say they aren't good is completely inaccurate.
December 29, 200817 yr Can you guys name me one big game the Cowboys have won with Romo under center? I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while on this one.
December 29, 200817 yr Didn't say he was, too young for one thing. Peyton's the best in the league for another, so... Tom Brady has 3 rings that say otherwise....
December 29, 200817 yr They are poorly coached imo and have bad chemistry. They have as much talent as any team in the NFL, to say they aren't good is completely inaccurate. To say they aren't good is actually very accurate. It does not matter how much "talent" they have if they can't put it together. Individual talent does not win games. If individual talent and free agent acquisitions won games, the Cowboys and Redskins would win a lot of games every year.
December 29, 200817 yr Can you guys name me one big game the Cowboys have won with Romo under center? I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while on this one. Tick tock, tick tock....

Your hatred for the Cowboys is comical.

December 29, 200817 yr So how does a bad team win 9 games with 3 games with an awful QB? Your hatred for the Cowboys is comical. I didn't necessarily say they were bad. I said they were not good. They're more average to me than anything. Why is it funny that I hate the Cowboys? Me hating the Cowboys doesn't make these things lies. Whether or not I hate the Cowboys, they still missed the playoffs, and lost 44-6 to the Eagles .
December 29, 200817 yr How does that translate into him being a bad QB? Maybe not bad, just not as good as Cowboy fans like to think he is. He is overrated by a lot of people.
December 30, 200817 yr I didn't necessarily say they were bad. I said they were not good. They're more average to me than anything. Why is it funny that I hate the Cowboys? Me hating the Cowboys doesn't make these things lies. Whether or not I hate the Cowboys, they still missed the playoffs, and lost 44-6 to the Eagles . Team-wise, I think that's true. Record: 9-7 PPG: 22.6 (18th) YPG: 344.5 (13th) PPG allowed: 22.8 (20th) YPG allowed: 294.3 (8th) Time of possession: 30.02/game Turnover margin: -11 Not that these tell the whole story, but taken as a whole, they appear to describe a very average team. I would be disturbed about the 13th most yards translating into the 18th most points; and the 8th best YPG allowed translating into the 20th-best PPG allowed . Turnovers probably play a part in this.
December 30, 200817 yr Tick tock, tick tock.... Giants game a couple of weeks ago. They lose they are out. I guess folks can try to down play that game but it was a make or break and they beat the Giants.

The statistics show it, and their record shows it. They missed the playoffs as well. They simply aren't good. If it were me making the argument for a team in the position of the Cowboys, and the team in question was the Giants, everyone would be screaming "homer"! It's quite obvious that I'm not the only "homer" here.
