Eagles 44 Cowboys 6

Featured Replies

Can anyone name me one big game that Wade Phillips has ever won as a head coach?

You Cowboys fans wanting rid of Romo...

You can't just snap your fingers and get a QB that can throw 25-30 TD's a year. He's still a young guy. A bigger concern for Dallas is getting a coach in place that can control the teams that Jerry Jones assembles...or get Jones to focus more on team building rather than accumulating names.

Same here!:thumb:

Overshadowed in the terrible play by the Cowboys was Jason Witten's efforts. I don't know how you can be a true football fan and not like him. Played with broken ribs half the season and a jacked up ankle yesterday. It should have been illegal linemen downfield but the latteral he threw to T.O. was one of the most heads up plays of the year.

I know I am late in the game in this arguement/conversation, but I really agree with this. I have a lot of respect for Whitten.

And I also think it is funny how little the Eagles are talked about on this site, unless it is something completely negative. They come out and not only win a game that they need to win, but they completely dominate it... And all you guys can talk about is the Giants and the Cowboys lol.

Philly fans irk me. Not you at all I like you a lot but the fans in Philly. They are fickle toward Donovan and Reid was on the hot seat. I'd take them both! McNabb has played through a lot of pain there an produced a lot with sub par WR's and usually not much of a running game. Reid is one of my favorites in the NFL. I also like B. Dawkins.

David Akers is a Tates Creek grad by the way for those that don't know.

The Eagles are inconsistent this year.

They look great one week, then the next they are terrible. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikings crush them.

And?

Was I talking to you?

Yeah, I know what you mean. They are very fickle, in fact that is the reason that Donovan McNabb became my favorite player. He got booed when he drafted, so I decided that I was going to like them. And I completely agree with all the statements which you made about all the players.

David Akers did go to Tates Creek...he also spoke at my bacculariate (spelling???) when I graduated high school at Boone County. I was pumped, but many didn't really care lol.

Was I talking to you?

Whoa now. Calm down!

I was simply asking what you posted that for. You were not "talking" to anyone, considering we are on a message board. You quoted no one, so apparently you posted it for everyone to see.

If you didn't want it to be available for anyone to respond to, you should have PM'd it to your targeted poster.

I hate Dawkins, but I don't have any problems with Akers, Reid or McNabb. Philly fans are hard on em', but New Yorkers are no different. If the Giants struggle, Eli and Coughlin hear a lot of it.

Who says it was targeted to a certain poster? Can I not post things within the boundaries of the rules? I just felt like posting it. Sheesh...

Yeah, they are...I just think it's funny how this thread quickly turns into a Giants vs. Cowboys thread lol. It would be nice to talk about the Eagles, in a thread that belongs to them.

I mean, yes I am biased, but they do deserve to get the credit that they deserve, being that they made the playoffs. And the game against the Vikings could go either way. The Vikings have been somewhat hit or miss as well. So, I believe that it could go either way. Obviously, you all know who I am pulling for.

You insinuated there might have been a target by saying "Was I talking to you"? To me, that insinuated that you were not talking to me, rather you were talking to someone else.

And I felt like asking you why. Is there a problem with that?

Nope. And I feel like giving you no answer. Is there a problem with that?

Why does everything have to be turned into something about the Giants? lol... seems like it happens in just about every single football thread lol.

But anyway, why do you dislike Dawkins?
