Eagles 44 Cowboys 6

Featured Replies

Yeah, they are...I just think it's funny how this thread quickly turns into a Giants vs. Cowboys thread lol. It would be nice to talk about the Eagles, in a thread that belongs to them.

I mean, yes I am biased, but they do deserve to get the credit that they deserve, being that they made the playoffs. And the game against the Vikings could go either way. The Vikings have been somewhat hit or miss as well. So, I believe that it could go either way. Obviously, you all know who I am pulling for.

The Eagles could be dangerous in the playoffs, but it will be tough winning all their games on the road...

The Eagles are 3-4-1 on the road this year.

Yeah, if their defense can play with the passion that they did yesterday, they might be able to win a couple games. I kinda like them being the under dog though.

Why does everything have to be turned into something about the Giants? lol... seems like it happens in just about every single football thread lol.

But anyway, why do you dislike Dawkins?

Are you seriously going to complain about that? It is called a comparison.

I just don't like Dawkins...

The two (lol) within the post suggested that it was a playful joke.

And that is certainly a good reason not to like him lol.

I hate Dawkins, but I don't have any problems with Akers, Reid or McNabb. Philly fans are hard on em', but New Yorkers are no different. If the Giants struggle, Eli and Coughlin hear a lot of it.

I should clarify.. like Dawkins the player not so much the person. I also think B. Westbrook is one of the most underrated players in the league. Westbrook healthy.... Philly's good.... Westbrook unhealthy.... Philly not nearly as good IMO.

So are they bad, not good, average, or do they stink HB? Your posts are a little confusing.

The Giants lost to 4 teams this year. They lost to 6 teams last year in the regular season. Does that mean that all 4, or all 6 last year were better than the Giants? Nope.

The Cowboys were better on that day...but the Giants are obviously a better team.

You just supported the majority of peoples opinion that the Giants weren't the best team last year that you so often like to argue against.

Closer to average than anything, I've made that clear.

The Giants were the best team when it mattered, thus they earned the right to be called the best team in 2007. There's no way to prove otherwise.

You sure didn't talk this much smack a couple of weeks ago when Dallas whipped up on the Giants. Were you holding your breathe hoping to not have to play them in the playoffs or what. It's like once they are out you take every shot you can at them. The week they beat the Giants you were pretty quite on how bad they were or "close to average".

Peter King said today that if you can only get rid of either the coach or TO that TO is the obvious choice.

Getting rid of TO should be #1 on Jerry Jones checklist...Wade Phillips should be #2.

And, both should be done ASAP, so it doesn't really matter what order you rank them. :D

That's one positive from the Roy Williams trade. IMO, it gives them the ability to cut ties with TO without leaving the WR position barren.

They looked good that ONE week. Good teams play good consistently, not in spots. The Giants won 12 games this year, it isn't like they are a fluke.

And it's convenient that you keep forgetting that Jacobs was out for that game. You like to mention how important he is to the Giants, but you like to forget that he didn't play against the Cowboys that week . And it was in Dallas...the Giants have only lost something like 3 or 4 road games in the past two years and two of those have been in Dallas. They don't seem to play well there. If the cowboys and giants met in the playoffs, it would have been in Giants stadium...

Can anyone name me one big game that Wade Phillips has ever won as a head coach?

You Cowboys fans wanting rid of Romo...

You can't just snap your fingers and get a QB that can throw 25-30 TD's a year. He's still a young guy. A bigger concern for Dallas is getting a coach in place that can control the teams that Jerry Jones assembles...or get Jones to focus more on team building rather than accumulating names.

I'm not a Cowboys fan, just a fan of TO. I'm not saying Romo is terrible either, just that he can't win a big game. He's not the superstar that many people see him as.

Wade Phillips should have been fired before he was ever hired, that was a terrible move, and I've always said he shouldn't be there.

You forget to mention that Marion Barber has been out over a month! He is the nucleus of what Dallas does. They missed his attitude and pounding running style. I'm not so sure they aren't in the playoffs if he was around. Fair or not?

I think the 1st two moves are getting rid of Phillips and T.O. They need somebody to draw the coverage T.O. does but I'm tired of his antics and all the me first WR's in the league. I wish they would have moved him and gotten Boldin!
