December 25, 200817 yr The adults in my family all put our "present" money into the charity "Treats for Troops" which buys personal items, snacks, phone cards and small entertainment devices for our military personel. It feels as good today as it did the day I got on the website and "adopted" two young men serving our country. All I can hope is that I made their day as bring as mine was. For those of you that got cash as a gift, how about taking a look at this charity? http://www.treatsfortroops.com I did get a batch of my favorite chocolate fudge and some small (though very appreciated!) gifts from my students, including some wonderful cards (that I save forever!)
