It is great to see my team finally exceed after many years. :thumb::thumb::thumb: :banana: :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa I have been a fan of the Irish since way back when.

Now if my 49ers can get back to greatness ...:ylsuper:

Dang, ND and Niners fan. You have had a rough few years then. I am not a big ND fan, but I am happy to see them finally win a bowl game.

Now we will have to hear about how great ND will be next year all off-season, great.

After that huge win they, N-Dame should be in the top three next season maybe higher if Lou Holtz as a say in it.:jump::jump::jump:

I had a feeling that ND would win big in this game.

I figured that would doom them

ND isn't on the level of OU, Bama etc but those great programs have gone through their growing pains. I'm not saying they are going to be world beaters but this is the first ray of hope I've seen with the program in some time. Lots of young talent that played to their abilities last night. Step in the right direction.

They aren't as deep or consistent as OU or Bama. Their WRs are as good as any other Freshman or Sophomore receivers in the country (w/ the exception of Crabtree and Jones). However, once you get past the starters, and I'm including Grimes, it is really dicey. Two more classes will help w/ the depth.

I liked the names on the Jerseys again, and I'm one of those that liked that they didn't have it either. Just different I guess....

Nice win but Hawaii is not very good...

Hawaii may not be the scoring machine of old, however, Notre Dame did dominate. Even more importantly, they finished strong. The Irish have 16 starters returning for the 2009 season which is key for ND. I believe that Weiss will get the program back on track.

I didn't like the names but to each their own.

I just loved the trash talking ND was doing. Have to leave the mainland to get a bowl win and act like a bunch of punks doing it.

I watched the whole game and I didn't notice anything out of the way by ND. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I didn't notice anything.

I watched for about 10 minutes and one of the recievers was in the d-backs face running his mouth and saw a couple of others. Could be I just don't like ND.
