You ready for euchre yet? Troy and Henry are chomping at the bit. Troy's got a euchre Jones so bad that he came up to my Mom and Dad's last Thursday and got a taste of "full contact euchre" with Bob and Marion (doubt he'll do that again though).

Good luck to Austin in Texas! Here's also wishing Hunter and Brandon the best as they work their way back from the injuries. Really looking forward to watching these young men help lead the team next year.

Agreed. He's moving around well and doing very well in his therapy/rehab. He and Hunter Schlosser are currently comprising the Birds Crutch Brigade! Both should be back better than ever for the 09 season.

Good thing hunting season is almost over. That front porch at the farm was going to get crowded.

I will say it is something to see. Brandon in a knee brace and crutches, Hunter in a boot and crutches and Brandon just came by to pick up Hunts to get him out for awhile. It's the walking wounded.:lol:

Congrats to Austin and Brandon, this is well deserved!!! Austin good luck in Texas, enjoy the experience!!! Brandon keep working hard on the rehab we are all (Highlands fans) looking forward to your return!!!

 

Congratulations to Austin and Brandon on being invited to this combine.I want to wish both of you the best of luck while you are in Texas. Show them what you can do,I'm sure they will be impressed. You both make Kentucky proud! I want to wish every one that is going, a safe trip to and from Texas.

Youth All-American Bowl Week will consist of practices, a skills competition, and sessions with Hall of Famers, and current and former NFL stars and celebrities.

 

 

The following players from Kentucky were selected:

 

 

Eighth-grade game: Corey Osolonian (Kettle Island); Walker Crase (West Liberty); Reed Montgomery (Bardstown); Ridge Jackson (Georgetown); Kyle Bolin (Lexington).

 

 

Eighth-grade weight-limited game: Daulton Goodlett (Mount Eden); Will Eldridge (Taylorsville); Steven Simpson (Miracle); Karl E. Roesler III (Louisville); William Elliott (Pineville).
