December 21, 200817 yr My husband says that Coradall (sp?) is the best to control pain. He has only had one and it was as big as a dime (we had to have the lithroscopy to crush it so it could be passed) it was not a fun time. Hope all goes well.
December 21, 200817 yr I had kidney stones one time and that was enough for me! I was given Lortabs and Phinagrin, which helped. I also drank Cranberry juice which seemed to help quite a bit. I have been told that passing a stone is the closest thing to childbirth that a man can experience. If so, then I have a whole new respect for all Mothers.

Actually, most woman who have experience a kidney stone say that the pain of passing a stone (perhaps not one as pathetically small as Sticky's :lol:) is much worse than childbirth. :eek:

Very similar but different because the babies head doesn't have spikes and barbs that grab ahold and rip the skin out as it is being passed like a kidney stone does.
December 22, 200817 yr In my best Stewie Griffin: AHA! Victory is MINE!!! Delivered a healthy baby stone at 1:55 pm. Stone, Dad, and all "members" are doing fine... Glad the ordeal is over. I have not experienced it, but have been told it is extremely painful.

Your husband must have been given IV Toradal. He 's right - it works great. You can feel it burn as it travels through your veins. When it gets to the kidney's - pain gone.
