Minnesota has recharged his batteries and he is making progress. Listening to some UK fans, UK coach shouldn't have to work hard on the recruiting trail. They just have to show up with the UK logo on the sweatsuit and the players fawn over them like teen girls over Zack Efron. I need a emoticon dripping with sarcasm.
December 21, 200817 yr Rick Pitino would disagree with you. Called Tubby the best hire that he ever made. That would be over Billy D, Herb Sendek and any of his other assistant coaches. He supported Tubby very highly. Once he got back to UL and a few years into his tenure there, he really didn't want him to leave, and his assistants said as much. Mick Cronin, when he was an assistant at UL, told some coaches at a coaching clinic they hoped OTS would stay at UL because they will easily out recruit him.

I dis-like the 'ville just as much as any other UK fan but there is 1 thing I know for sure and thats when the cards start clicking it will get nasty for ANY team they play. I told my brother toward the end of there game today that UL is the type of team who can win 10 straight in the big east; beating any of the other ranked teams

To have the late game Thursday, then the early game in AZ on Saturday and throw in the long ride to and from Glendale to the hotel...you have the ultimate ingredients for a "trap" game...and it was, nothing more...nothing less.

It is funny...but do you know who recruited like that? Scott Rigot and I am not kidding. I have spoken with three assistant coaches and they told me, UK was easily the laziest staff on the trail the last couple of years.
December 21, 200817 yr I'm not impressed with U of L at all so far this season. They have alot of talent and a good coach, but they aren't even a top 25 team at this point, IMO.

You're right, they should. That doesn't mean they aren't a Top 25 team. I said earlier in the season, everyone in the Top 10 deserves their rankings until they lose. Louisville has lost twice, they obviously don't deserve to be ranked #3. Not hard really...
