December 8, 200817 yr I'm Ok thanks for asking. Felt going in with our rushing defense we could control them a little. Our d which has carried us just couldn't put enough pressure on Tim. He made several huge throws in the 4th quarter and their wideouts made the nice diving catches. The kickoff return that we caught at the two killed us. The facemask penalty also was a back breaker. Freashman made a nice stop and his hand was on the mask buy didn't pull it, instead of 4th and 3 and another field goal they end up with 7 points. Thats football. Gators kick off we are down 24-20 and we throw the bomb? Plenty of time to keep running like we have been. Lot of us were wondering about that call? 11 year old took it real hard, but here on Monday is realizing 12-1 Sugar Bowl and we could end up #2/3 in the final poll. Good luck to the Gators/Sooners. Oh yeah, church folks were OK, but the preacher hit me in the back and laughed...I asked him..."did you hurt your hand?" There were OK, and the sun came up. Go Bama Roll Tide. :thumb:
December 8, 200817 yr The kickoff return that we caught at the two killed us. Agreed. I thought Arenas played a horrible game.
December 8, 200817 yr No, the Heisman is for the best player in college football, not about stats, and Tim Tebow is the best player in college football. :thumb: Its not even close.
December 8, 200817 yr But, about that game...what do you know? Alabama actually made a game of it. I thought Saban might just keep 'em at home since Florida was gonna name the final score. Seriously, that was a good game and a nice matchup of contrasting styles. Julio Jones is a STUD. If Saban can come up with a QB, 'Bama is only going to get better from here. They're on the verge of dominating the conference, IMO, because I don't see Urban Meyer finding another Tim Tebow. I had a hunch they would pull the upset, but I knew the Tide weren't going to get run out of the dome like most people were predicting. In the end, Tim Tebow and Florida was just the better team. I think Alabama played about as well as can be expected.
December 9, 200817 yr True, Tebow is by far the best player in the country. Best since Reggie Bush or Vince Young. Possibly better than either. 5wide, I think that they like both Qb's that could possibly start next year. I think one of them is extremely athletic, Star Jackson is his name i think?
December 9, 200817 yr Question I have been meaning to ask....Who pays for those two security guys Tebow has??
December 9, 200817 yr They are probably volunteers that wouldn't want to come across Tebow on the street!
December 9, 200817 yr Question I have been meaning to ask....Who pays for those two security guys Tebow has??I've seen state patrolman and stadium security with him, if that's what you mean. I see the same around Matt Grothe at USF events and he's not anywhere near as high profile. I don't think Tebow has body guards, per say.

They did not look like state patrolman or stadium security I can promise you that.
December 11, 200817 yr Tebow is a good football player, I never said he wasn't, but he shouldn't win the Heisman again this season. The Heisman isn't an award for a player putting his team on his back and taking them to the NC game. Bradford, McCoy, and Harrell all deserve it over Tebow. Their numbers are all amazing, and if you want to say players leading their team to the promise land, 1 of those Big 12 guys will be in the NC game, and the other 2, were just a win away as well.. Well thats just your opinion Tebow is just as deserving as any one of those guys he only had 2 int the whole season and 7 of the teams in the Big 12 had a "D" that was ranked 75th or worse those guys would not put up those numbers in the Sec i would like to see what Tebow would have did to some of those "D"s he still had just as good numbers as all 3 of those guys

I was told they were FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) agents. He must have received something other than standard hate mail prior to the game.
December 11, 200817 yr A player comes onto the field with out his helmet and gives encouragement to his team in the huddle...they break from the huddle and he goes to the bench. Two penalties there is what I'm thinking. Last play of the game #63 Gator kicks a player while he is on the ground, nothing called player not thrown out....last play of the game.
