The same way you can suspend a player the following season after being thrown out the year before. The player should have been thrown out and suspend the following game just like if it happened before the game.

PENALTY—15 yards from the basic spot or from the succeeding spot, first down for Team B fouls if the first down is not in conflict with other rules, and disqualification for the remainder of the game and the first half of the next game [s7, S27 or S38, and S47]. For fights that occur in the last game of a season, squad members in uniform, coaches and players with eligibility remaining will serve fight-related suspensions during the first game of the next season for which they are eligible.

Point being? You can suspend a player for the next game(s) or a game(s) of the next season but you CAN NOT kick a player out of a game when there is no more game to be played...:thumb:
December 12, 200817 yr Your right game over, but you are missing our point where the next game he is not allowed to play, just like he was kicked out of a game. The SEC is looking into this also. It was a weak kick but the thought was there. Jim Tackett I believe is the kickers name, and he kicked a player who was on the ground.
