OK.. Collinsworth is leget and can run but the other 3 DB's had average speed. Collinsworth played alot a safety when i saw them play. Hey a fan of Highlands love how they play and what they stand for but Christian County will have a definite speed advantage and should be able to throw the ball when needed.

I have predicted this match up all year, I still say CC will upset HHS in a close game.

It would be hard for me to imagine that there is another team in KY, including X&T, that were as fast as the National powerehouse Colerain. But the slowfooted HHS d-backs hung in there just fine

Who was on the 4 x 100 relay team last year or the year before at state? I'm confident that Head was on there, maybe Bardo as well. Who is the 4th DB I'm forgetting?

 

I think the last 2 games have shown how important the loss of Roller at LB is to a Defense that played extremely well at the end of the season. Offense has really picked up the slack, but both JC and Whitley moved the ball effectively if only briefly. That said, the DBs made many tackles preventing long gains from being breakaway TDs.

 

I suspect film will convince CC coaches that testing the HHS secondary may not be the primary attack plan.

Highlands need not worry about the speed of the colonels. CC is big up front and will chew clock with slow methodical drives. John Hardin has some decent speed overall and CC didn't catch anyone from behind. QB will be the key. He's very mobile in the pocket and will not hesitate to run. Very good at throwing the shallow drag or the 10yd. dig behind it. HHS should have enough team speed to corral Banks...just have to stop the QB.

I know Highlands Oliver Head had an amazing number of tackles against Whitley. Great win for the birds!!! One more win=STATE CHAMPS!! GO BIRDS!!!:thumb:

Highlands has too much team speed for CC to handle. Hence the success of Florida!
