I have not seen a Male responder (not meant as a disrespect to the gender of any responders), what were your impressions of this game and what are your thoughts about the Trinity match-up.

This week you get to start some school traditions leading up to the big day. Enjoy every minute of it. You deserve it. But remember, there's still work to do!!!

I cannot even begin to fathom a reason your student body would not show up to a semi final state football game - regardless of weather, other activities, holidays, vacations, funerals............this discuss really leads to why there are some areas of deficiency with our children today. Every parent, every brother and sister, every aunt and uncle, every cousin (both blood and kissin') , friends, neighbors, and even prior opposing team players and fans could and should be at a state semi final game - you only get a few chances in life, and this would be one of them.

 

Fortunately, we live in NKY-----where football never dies...it may go into hibernation for a few months (not sure what two months) but it NEVER dies.

 

So, all NKY fans, I hope you are able to join others and attend the Pizza Bowl for one if not all four of the games next week.

 

To all four NKY teams, BEST WISHES .

I think Male may've had more players on the sidelines than fans in the stands.

On the other hand, SK has been on the road every week and had as big or bigger crowd than every place they have gone. It is really neat seeing the community spirit come alive. Good stuff.

Did anyone else get the feeling that Male didn't really care that much about this game?

 

We found out that they had already ordered their Championship rings.

The defense won that game. After the 10 1st quarter points Male put up the defense really stepped up.

Male didn't play us this season, so I doubt they'd have much to comment on there.

Congratulations SK. Northern Ky will be very well represented next weekend!

As far as I am concerned, SK just won the 6A public school state league championship!

Now its on to the Pizza Bowl where you will encounter a different kind of opponent! Win or lose, an impressive run! Congrats to the entire team on a fine season.

However, I must point out a couple of things before you can claim to be public school champs. Eastern and Manual both beat Male. Eastern went 11-2 with both losses to Trinity. Manual lost 3 games 2 to St. X. So, enjoy your run but most of all be thankful that your district aligned like it did. I am not saying that you couldn't beat the fore-mentioned teams(East, Man) but, you have to admit your road to the finals was much easier than theirs.

Why do people have to try and ruin it for SK. They won quite trying to point out things that you feel made it easy for them. The fact is they are there let them enjoy it. They play smash mouth football and fought their way there. Please quit with the negative and look forward to the positive. SK, if you young men are reading these comments from the nay sayers please do not let them get to you. You earned your spot here with the way you have played and been coached. Ignore the fools that say different.
