Wow great win SK, Good Luck next week. All of NKY will be pulling for you.

What a great story SK has been since the Boone County game earlier in the season when it looked like all was lost for a promising young team

As far as I am concerned, SK just won the 6A public school state league championship!

Now its on to the Pizza Bowl where you will encounter a different kind of opponent! Win or lose, an impressive run! Congrats to the entire team on a fine season.

I heard Miles ran for 180 mostly in the 2nd half.

Congrats to SK. Is this their first state championship?

Ernst catches up with Marksberry on his way home...

Question: So, how does it feel?

Answer: You want the honest truth? I fell to my knees and cried when the buzzer sounded. But now I’m ready to trade film and get planning for Trinity. But I also want to enjoy it. and I want our kids to enjoy it. I’m going to make sure that this is the experience of their lifetime. I want each and every one of them to feel special, because they are special.

Thanks for the post Gametime. That is pretty cool. Not many get to feel what Coach Marksberry and the Pioneers are feeling tonight.

It was a pretty neat sight to see at school this week from many of our non-football players. I'm proud of the team for realizing their potential. One more week, then we can build another trophy case next to the basketball state title!

"Pioneers rule and the Bulldogs drool Brother". Great job SK. Could be first state title since wrestling in 87.

Good Luck!

Way to go SK! I was unsure about SK's chances going into this game, but I am definitely glad to see another Nky school playing for the hardwood....Good luck!!

Shocked to see this one happen.

Understatement of the evening

But SK's been on the upward swing for a while now. Also this isn't the Male most are used to.

This is so awesome! NKY is represented so well! SK had to pull off a strange rainy win vs Campbell just to get 4 seed in district! So proud!

Suprise, suprise, suprise. Congrats to SK, I hope they enjoy this week. I don't think saturday will be pretty. I hope I'm wrong.

Hmmm that's funny, you may be right. But I think you should read every pre game thread of SK's for the past 4 weeks. Then may'be you'll understand why it's funny.

BTW, I think the average prediction was something like 35-14 Male:creepy:

These guys have been the underdogs since the playoffs began, pretty sure they won't mind it next week too.:thumb:

How did Simpson do tonight?

You could've just answered when I called and I would've gladly told you. Simpson did, what Simpson does, he played ball and did it with style. Kids a beast.

Congrats to SK. Making NKY proud. Good Luck against Trinity. If the Pioneers play a perfect game and get a couple breaks you may be able to get them. No matter what, you have had a great 2nd half of the season.
