I would think that Florida would be in the NC if they beat ALA but with the way the BCS works you can't guarantee anything.

I just hope Mizzou wins.

The BCS will have a big enough storm from either Texas or Oklahoma, which ever is left out. I cant see them allowing another controversy in not allowing Florida in if they beat Bama in the SEC title game.

I would say its noteworthy that in 2 more games, Florida has allowed 87 less points. Both teams can score. That's obvious. I'd give Florida the nod because of its defense.

I said I don't see Florida as CLEARLY better than Oklahoma. I can see someone thinking they have a slight edge. That's fair. SIXTY points in four straight games.

Their edge is their defense. OU would not put up sixty on Florida's defense. On the other hand Florida's offense could easily put up 60 on OU's defense. There's the difference IMO.:thumb:

Whatever happens this weekend there is going to be atleast probably 3 1 loss or no loss (Utah) or no loss teams who feel they should get a shot at the title. Its gonna be a tough year for the BCS.

The game vs the Citadel killed them here.

OU is the team right now that I wouldn't want to be playing. Though giving up 40 points this weekend was a tad surprising, it's not a big problem when you routinely score 60.

I'd be willing to bet the farm that they'll not score anything close to that against Florida or Alabama, but they'd darn sure better not give up 40 to those two teams either, or they'll lose by 20.

Beating the #1 one team in the nation on a neutral site will carry a lot of weight and put the Gators in the Final game.

 

Gators/USC would be a great matchup. Sooners D against the Cowboys on Saturday showed some flaws.

 

USC needs to destroy UCLA and the Gators need a big win over my guys. And the Sooners need to do the same, but I see Mizzou playing better.

 

Should be a great week...Cards/Knights.....Male/SK on Friday with the others schools also.....and Saturday with the SEC/Big 12...Sec at 4 Big 12 8PM.

Gators will not be denied the title game if they win the SEC, no way not gonna believe it.

And to the people saying Harvin will effect this team drastically, I think Demps and Rainey will fill in just fine!

I'd feel pretty good about OU's chances of scoring more than 20 against Florida or Alabama. But clearly they have some defensive concerns that need tending to if they're going to beat either of those two.

They beat Cincinnati 52-26.

They beat Washington 55-14.

They beat #24 TCU 35-10.

They beat Baylor 49-17.

They lost to #5 Texas 45-35.

They beat #16 Kansas 45-31.

They beat Kansas State 58-35.

They beat Nebraska 62-28.

They beat Texas A&M 66-28.

They beat #2 Texas Tech 65-21.

They Beat #12 Oklahoma State 61-41.

 

I'm not sold that Texas Tech is really that good. Really, I think the two best teams in the Big 12 are Texas & Oklahoma by a fairly significant margin. That's not to say that other teams can't knock them off, though...

 

 

Is the Big 12 really that good? Rankings don't completely tell an accurate story. Who have the Big 12 teams played from the other power conferences that makes them legit? Seeing the above, the only wins outside the conference against the other power conferences were UC and Washington. UC was not prepared for the limelight when they matched up in week 2. Washington is HORRIBLE, thus no way this qualifies as a quality win outside the conference.
