November 30, 200817 yr That's the problem, Miami, Alabama and goodness knows how many schools are winning with freshman and sophmores and they are doing it RIGHT NOW. Notre Dame's freshman and sophmores just aren't very good. Doesn't mean they can't get better, but the excuse that they are "only" freshman doesn't fly when other schools have underclassmen playing as well as they are. The recent pattern is that a new coach will come in and win with Charlie's players and then when that new coaches players starting coming in, we will have yet another cycle of crap. :lol: Florida also comes to mind. I think they said on the Gators-Noles game that Florida has something like 18 starters returning.
