That's the problem, Miami, Alabama and goodness knows how many schools are winning with freshman and sophmores and they are doing it RIGHT NOW. Notre Dame's freshman and sophmores just aren't very good. Doesn't mean they can't get better, but the excuse that they are "only" freshman doesn't fly when other schools have underclassmen playing as well as they are. The recent pattern is that a new coach will come in and win with Charlie's players and then when that new coaches players starting coming in, we will have yet another cycle of crap. :lol:

Cowboys haven't won a playoff game in forever and I don't think Notre Dame has won a bowl game in 15 years. All the hype in the world just to end up being average or falling short.
