Of course not but it amazes me how it is always the other team making someone look bad. When you don't come off the ball that has nothing to do with the other team. When you don't block the right assignment that has nothing to do with the other team. All of those things can be fixed in practice.

Lincoln County could not have fixed anything in practice after playing Bell County this year to make them win if they were to play again, Bell County just made them look bad. (Yes, I know LC was not very good this year anyway but it is a mere example.)

So, basically, in a very long, drawn out way, you're saying Bell County has no chance to win this game, because...

 

1. Unless they pass, they'll struggle.

 

2. If they pass, they're playing into your hands and you'll intercept 1 of every 5 passes...

 

Hopefully, Dudley Hilton understand that his only chance is to implement a game plan accordingly...

 

1. Run the ball on every play and punt when you have to.

2. Hope your defense can hold.

3. Hope your defense and special teams can create enough points to win.

Wow, we starting covering this 3 days ago and now I have to give you the cliff notes version to get you caught up.

 

1. I never said they don't have a chance but I do expect Boyle County to win, but I'll tell you a secret, I have been wrong before.:sssh:

 

 

2. I said that it is my understanding that Bell County is primarily a running team and that I believed that it would take a "passing attack" style offense to defeat the Rebels based off of what I have seen this season.

 

3. I said if Boyle somehow manages to get up on Bell County 7-0, or 10-0 and then Bell is forced to have to throw the ball and ditch their running game, that it would play into Boyle's hands and that I believed we would intercept the ball 1 time for every 5 pass attempts.

 

4. In order for this scenario to play out Boyle County has to stop the run of Bell County, and as I said yesterday I believe, if we don't stop the run then it doesn't matter if Bell County passes the ball or not, because, quite frankly, we have stopped the run of everybody, but if we can't stop Bell, then we will probably lose.

 

5. Dudley Hilton didn't become the great coach he is by coming on bluegrasspreps.com and checking out a fan's analysis of the game and then making his gameplan. I'm sure whatever Bell County needs to do to win that he will have his team prepeared for Friday night.

 

I based my analysis off of game stats and what I have seen. I can't wait to see how it turns out this Friday.

That's only if it's gotten to the point that Bell County has to throw the ball. I figure that when a team that averages 8 passes a game is forced to throw more than they are accusstomed to then mistakes will be made. It takes a lot of game time situations to make a passing game work regardless of the success. Even a team like LexCath who throws around 20-25 times a game has to keep passing in order to get better. But who knows, you guys may beat us with your passing game. Who knows. I don't think it is likely, but like I said, I have been wrong before.:sssh:

Did that not have anything to do with KC's defensive lineman, usually at this point in the season teams you face are getting better and better each week, with that said, I would expect Boyle County's D-line to be just as good or better than KC's. O-line performance will continue to look worse and worse if you are just used to rolling over teams like Bell County has in the regular season.

Of course KC is better than Volunteer. KC was in the Regional finals. Now if your blockers get defeated by the opponents D-line then they are better, that was not the case.

 

In the Bell/KC prediction thread you kept asking me why I was so confident. It was line play during the first game. Despite losing 21-0, I has watched the line play closely and thought KC's was at the very least the equal to Bells. Second game proved me right.

At this point in the season, who cares? Is that gonna win the football game friday night? I dont think so! Their was too cruical parts missing from both teams, their OL's/DL's.

Boyle has alot of quality coaches who have 5 state championships before Coach French came here. It takes more than just a good head coach to win championships; it takes an entire staff of competent coaches. The head coach gets the credit but he is only as good as the people he is surrounded with!
