I am not trying to be disrespectful, just stating my opinion and using stats as the basis of my opinion. All I am trying to say is that, in my opinion, unless you air it out quite a bit, you will have trouble. I feel like if you try to run and after a while realize that you can't run like you want to and then try to pass that you will fall into exactly what we want to happen and I feel like that's when things will go wrong and work to our advantage. For allwe know you guys may dominate the line of scrimmage and never have to throw, who knows. I do feel that if you get behind 7-0, 10-0 and then try to throw the ball that it will be too late, but we'll see. Your qb has great numbers, but it's not as if you guys have a "passing attack".

 

So, basically, in a very long, drawn out way, you're saying Bell County has no chance to win this game, because...

 

1. Unless they pass, they'll struggle.

 

2. If they pass, they're playing into your hands and you'll intercept 1 of every 5 passes...

 

Hopefully, Dudley Hilton understand that his only chance is to implement a game plan accordingly...

 

1. Run the ball on every play and punt when you have to.

2. Hope your defense can hold.

3. Hope your defense and special teams can create enough points to win.

IMO, not all lineman on Bells team didnt give a bad performance and some did do there job well thank you. Sure they will read your remark and take it all in. So thanks, for we will do our best not to disappoint and I am sure will come to play this week after you gave us so good of a rating!!!!!

Well this is just one these cases that you just let play out for itself. For most of this game he probably won't be lined up against this kid(or man). But I'm sure this whole offensive line has it's story played out to where Aumiller will not break through, right BELL? :sssh:

Did that not have anything to do with KC's defensive lineman, usually at this point in the season teams you face are getting better and better each week, with that said, I would expect Boyle County's D-line to be just as good or better than KC's. O-line performance will continue to look worse and worse if you are just used to rolling over teams like Bell County has in the regular season.

The passing game of Bell County may surprise me because I will admit that I am skeptical of how efficient a passing game set up by primarily a running offense will be in a game of this magnitude and quality of teams on the field, but Larry French and the Rebels defense will not be caught off guard. I can guarantee they know how well you guys pass the ball and will be ready. :thumb:

I don't think anyone is suggesting that Bell County is going to surprise French and the Rebels with their passing game, sure Boyle County will know the sets and the routes of Bell County, here in lies the problem; Bell County's running plays look so similiar to their passing plays that the defense will have trouble recognizing which one it is, therefore, if they guess wrong they will get burnt. Four words: Tight End Jump Pass.

Bell County has beat their opponents by an average score of 47-3

 

Honestly I think Boyle County has had the much tougher schedule going into this game.

Since Week 5 of the season Boyle has played a total of 1 team with a winning record. Lex Cath last week. I don't think this team has been tested YET.

 

The best team they played was Lex Cath who lost a total of 18 starters from last years State champ team and most of their back-ups from that team as well.

3wishes, I agree KC was the aggressor last Friday and came ready to play. But after talking to one of the coaches from Bell. He said the our line just really did not play with the aggression that they are known for. So lets hope things get back to normal this week and by the way it has nothing to do with who we did or did not play. They have an expectation within their group and not living up to that is simply not exceptable.

Is it possible Bell County was looking ahead to the showdown with Boyle County (or LexCath)? Especially considered they won 21-0 in Knox County earlier in the year.

 

Bell's defensive stats this season are amazing...8 shutouts in 13 games...6 consecutive shutouts from Oct. 10 thru Nov. 14...only one oppponent has scored reached double digits...42 points allowed in 13 games (3.2 ppg)...very impressive.

 

I expect Bell County will be ready to play Friday and this game should be a dandy. If you like old fashioned, hard nosed, defensive football...this is the game to watch this weekend.

Of course KC is better than Volunteer. KC was in the Regional finals. No b/c they practiced they will for sure win. lol Of course not but it amazes me how it is always the other team making someone look bad. When you don't come off the ball that has nothing to do with the other team. When you don't block the right assignment that has nothing to do with the other team. All of those things can be fixed in practice.

 

Now if your blockers get defeated by the opponents D-line then they are better, that was not the case.

Excellent point. This one will be close and will be decided in the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter.
