Boyle has alot of quality coaches who have 5 state championships before Coach French came here. It takes more than just a good head coach to win championships; it takes an entire staff of competent coaches. The head coach gets the credit but he is only as good as the people he is surrounded with!

Very interesting we were discussing this very topic at team meal tonight.:thumb:

This one is just a matter of hours away. I could'nt be more exicted honestly. I just so happened to have picked up a local paper today on my way home and their was a pretty good article on the Bobcats, more specifically the 13 seniors. I was a little back and forth on this game until I really thought about it. All of the points have been made, stats compared, schedules compared, every comparison has been made and IMO the reasonable people haha, have all said the same, these two teams are mirror images of each other. Boyle's speed cancels the Bell size out. It's going to come down to who wants it more on Friday night; I'm no Boyle fan so I dont know how bad they want it. IMHO though, I think Bell wants it the most, not saying Boyle doesnt, but we'll see Friday night. The bobcat seniors have always been winners, they've stuck together basically their whole lives, and they want this badly for the entire team, community and coaching staff. Coach Hilton and his staff has let some big games slip through their fingers in the past, but I think he honestly beleive he wants it more for this team and these seniors to get to Louisville then he has any other team. All this aside, one thing is for sure, this will IMO be the best game of the playoffs, if not the year win or lose. goodluck to both teams..Can't wait until 7:30:D :dancingpa

Well said, after a week of hype and talk, I hate that someone has to lose. I have built a tremendous amount of respect for Bell County and I feel that whichever team loses is going to take it pretty hard. I feel bad for the loser, whomever that may be. Good luck to both teams, may we have the great, intense, hard fought, and injury free game that we all expect to see. This is my last post in this thread because I get off of work at 3pm, I am picking up my son and a friend or two of his, a friend of mine and we are off to Log Mountain for some football. May all Boyle County fans be safe in their travels.

I hope the Rebels are strapped up tight tonight. They have not faced a team in a few years like they will face tonight. The finesse teams they have played this year will not be a shadow of what Bell is on offense and defense. :devil:

I'll give you Bell Co. folks credit you sure are a confident bunch. So I guess the Diesel I burn going down 75 will all be in vain. O well I need a day off any way. Why not spend it in beautiful Southeasten Ky. Good luck to Bell Co. next week in the big pizza box. However, since the game will still be played there is a remote possibility that the Bell Co. folks could be home next week eating Black and Gold popcorn saying go REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
