I was able to see the video of the WC vs Pulaski and WC vs Rockcastle games tonight.

 

The Colonels are a bit smaller and a bit quicker than JC. They throw the ball a little more. Their backs have break away speed and the QB can get the ball downfield. Solid O & D lines with good speed in the secondary.

 

For the second straight week, this is going to be a real test for the Birds. It will take a near perfect game and a couple of breaks to get by the Colonels on their home turf.

 

Good luck to both teams...no injuries and hopefully Highlands picks up their tickets to the Ville.

 

Let me guess, Tuesday night session at the office in the back room? Nice breakdown of Whitley 72Birdman, it sounds like it could be closer than many think. Bottom line, whoever turns it over the least and controls the line of scrimmage will win this game.

Who does the kickoffs and fieldgoals for WC. I believe he is also the QB. I had the chance to see him at Newport and he kicks the ball well. Only reason I bring this up is because of his kicking style. He literally lines a mere 2 steps straight behind the ball and basically toes it to the endzone every time. If I remember he was hitting 40+ fgs in warmups. If the game is close in the end and a wet field could be an exciting finish. Especially with the leg the Highlands kicker has also.Good luck to both teams.

Highlands easily. By 20 or more.

It is not about people not thinking WC is not "for real". WC has not played anywhere near the schedule that HHS plays. I firmly believe that JC would have beaten WC by 2-3 TD's tonight at Johnsonville. So, the Birds winning by 4 TD's seems very reasonable to me. You only have one more week to see what we mean.

 

The teams Highlands has beat has a win loss record of 78 and 63 and Whitley's opponents have a win loss record of 74 and 64. I think both teams have played comparble opponets.
