November 24, 200817 yr Heck, anybody can get suspended once. You know you're really family when you're suspended multiple times and they still welcome you back with open arms - a prodigal son sort of thing. Fortunately, my slaps on the wrist were prior to the new reinstatement policy; a policy which was by the way one more step towards making BGP the best-run message board that I've been a part of. I have definetly been on that side of the fence, but Guru fortunately welcomed me back with open arms. :thumb:
November 24, 200817 yr The problem is, if 'Ru pulled me over, he knows who I am...it'd be curtains for me

November 24, 200817 yr Found this site by accident back in 2002. I was looking up some information on High School Basketball and came across this site. Been here every since. Great Job GURU.

November 24, 200817 yr The article brought a smile to me during dinner. I asked the wife to pronounce Guru's name, and she said she wouldn't even attempt. The greatest thing about BGP is that it lacks the riff/raff other forums have. If you step out of line here you will be dealt with, and that is a very good thing. I remember reading a post on Yappi and someone brought up the point that there was no "trash" talking on this board, and how that was weak. I disagree, this is a classy board and I'm happy I don't live in Ohio and have to bother with Yappi.
November 24, 200817 yr Regarding the concept of "suspensions" I guess there must be two kinds. One for you guys who have upset those who moderate this forum and then the kind I recently had. I'm pretty sure Guru marked my account as "suspended" because he didn't want anyone posting under my account while I was in South America building orphanages, feeding the hungry, and trying to find Obama's real birth certificate.
November 24, 200817 yr Author Here's a question 'Ru. If you pull someone over, and they have on a BGP Sweatshirt, do they get a ticket? I would like to suggest that BGP window stickers be added to the BGP Store. That way we can easily be identified BEFORE being pulled over and break given without being pulled over:D

So it had nothing at all to do with you beating baby seals, making change from the collection plate at church, and calling Guru an "oppressive, tyrannical dictator"???
November 24, 200817 yr I am so proud of Guru and so proud to be on the site and have such wonderful people as our extended family!!!

November 25, 200817 yr Guru - I love the site, but your new avatar pales in comparison to the old one....
