No, it won't. One dimensional teams don't win regional finals at the 5A level. Highlands 35 - JC 14.

Highlands finally came out last game and showed everyone that they are indeed the #1 team in 5A against Ashland. They need to do the same thing with Johnson Central and I'm sure they will.

Should be a great game and with a few breaks JC could take this one.

I will pull for JC, but not sure they can beat Highlands.

 

For what it is worth, I talked to the Bryan Station players and they said the best team they played all year was Johnson Central.

I don't think JC can beat HHS without a passing game. If they get down early its over.

I have stated before and I still believe that Highlands will beat JC, But I would be truly happy with a JC win! JC has one of the best rushing attacks that I've seen in years and I believe Highlands will have to really bring their A game to stop this rushing attack. Or they could just watch the Belfry tape and copy that? LOL

I think Bryan Station proved that you can run off tackle against Highlands. Just a hint for HHS fan this is all JC does, over and over and over again, they will pound the rock and control the clock. JC in a close one 35-31.

Definately the headliner in EKY next week...possibly for the entire state.

If either team comes out flat, they could be in for some trouble. I think that Highlands will be the favorite, but either team could win this one.

 

Also, the only time Highlands occasionally has trouble is against teams with better athleticism. Rarely (if ever, in the recent past at least) has Highlands lost to a team with less athletic ability. So, what kind of athletic ability does JC have?
