November 19, 200817 yr Can't hesitate with Patterson, if he is open, you get it to him. I know the D is playing tough on him, but there have been opportunities.
November 19, 200817 yr Whether they are good or not, it is so frustrating watching Kentucky just get manhandled.
November 19, 200817 yr UK looks flatfooted on defense and not aggressively, playing their positions. Got to block out their man and crash the boards. Offensively, until they find a PG, who can dribble penetrate and break down a defense, they will have to rely on individual play. Shew mercy, patience is the word with this young group.
November 19, 200817 yr Still NO effort to get the ball in the paint. They just threw the ball away 2 times trying to do it. YOU CAN"T THROW AN ENTRY PASS THAT FAR PAST THE 2 POINT LINE. You would think they would know that.
November 19, 200817 yr Billy G. needs to get back to the basics...Dribbling,Passing,Blocking out,Free Throws...:flame:
November 19, 200817 yr Someone should point out to Vitale that Samuel Morse invented and patented the telegraph and not Marconi.

November 19, 200817 yr Looking at this thread I honestly was feeling like the score was near 100-2... overreaction, maybe? UNC IS number 1 after all. It's not so much the score that bothers me. Just the way UK plays. We turned the ball over 25 times the first game and are well on our way to exceeding that number this game. After watching the first game and half of this one, I have no reason to think that things will get much better. We have no point guard. That hurts. It also frustrates me that Coach won't play Liggins. He's an all around better athlete than Porter and he needs the experience.
November 19, 200817 yr Okay sit the guy on the bench and get someone in that can make an entry pass. Because until Patterson gets the ball Meeks will not be able to knock down shots.
November 19, 200817 yr Stevenson didn't even have the ball at contact... On the earlier defensive foul on UNC against Stevenson, if we look at the contact between Stevenson and Zeller I think it was on Stevenson. However, I really did think the foul was on the reach in that got the ball out of Stevenson's hand.
November 19, 200817 yr Author I agree with whoever said something about Meeks doing what Gillispie told him to...No way he would be in otherwise...
