Congrats. Panthers, I didn't know anything about Dayton but from reading the thread I would have thout it would have been a little closer

Reading the thread about this game earlier this week made me wonder how this mighty defensive powerhouse could possibly have lost eight games. The NKy fans that posted were so sure that they would take Frankfort down. I'm glad the young men on the field determine who wins the game, and not us goobers online.

Give the kid that got hit credit. He popped back up and was one of the only ones left chasing when the kid scored...

 

The problem for Dayton was in tackling. Don't get me wrong, there were a few good runs, but there was lot of missed tackles...

 

And Frankfort's D was impressive with their speed, but it was simply that Dayton was overwhelmed up front. Sherlock struggled to find time or space in the pocket, and when he did he didn't get much help from his receivers... I actually was surprised that they had as many yards as they did... I thought sure it would be less than 50...

 

Frankfort has excellent overall team speed...

Hunhh?? Dayton didn't do well, but this is more a factor of the number of teams that make the playoffs, not the quality of NKY football. You are out of your mind if you think the football is not good here. There are 4 legit teams that can make it to the finals: Beechwood, Newport Catholic, Boone Co, and probably the second best team in the state, Highlands. Get real!:flame:

Frankfort is the number 1seed for a reason and Dayton was number 4 for a reason. Your #1 beat our #4. Nothing earth shattering about that. Good luck to Frankfort the rest of the way.

We're out here. Most of us didn't buy what the Devils were selling in the days leading up to this game. My guess is that it was just a few hardcore/delusional Dayton fans. This score didn't surprise me at all.

Hey fish.....go re-read the posts leading up to the game and it will be pretty clear that "Devils weren't the ones selling", but more like others from NKY. Crush.....BWood....Earth Saviour......Bellevue etc. Don't get me wrong guys, Dayton appreciates your support, but Fish, your "guess" that it was just a few hardcore/delusional Dayton fans is simply wrong. My guess is that your guess is incorrect and/or irrelevant:rolleyes:
