BTW, our school library used to have a book about this sort of thing, and had photos to go along with the stories. One picture I remember was at a funeral. Someone snapped a picture of people coming out of the church after the service was over. Between the photographer and the people was the car the family would be traveling in. Well, sitting in the back seat was a ghostly image of an elderly lady, and according to the family after they later saw the picture, was the lady whose funeral they had just attended. All said that no one was in the car when they entered it. But her image was on the photo and they didn't know how it got there.

I read this and think of the poem Footprints and see this is one of those supernatural incidents that God used an angel to reach out to one of his children that so desperately needed it.

Ok RebelK...guess I got to travel to Perryville today to view this pick. Did this happen close to Hank's bridge? I've always herd stories that Hank is around lurking when you stop and turn your car off on the bridge that he hung himselft on. I was always to big of a chicken to try it.:scared:

My grandmother died in 1993. My mother was named as the executor of the estate. One of the things left to her was a Grandmothers Clock. Beautiful, my grandmothers favorite, but it hadn't worked in years. She brought it back from Louisville and put it in the foyer, with every intent of getting someone to look at it and get it working again.

 

It took my mother over a year months to settle everything on the estate with the sale of the house, division of assets, etc. One day my mother was sitting in living room and the clock began to chime on its own. My mother went to check and see why this had happened, when the phone rang. It was the attorney overseeing the estate on the other end calling to tell her that the estate was settled and everything was taken care of. The clock has worked without any problems from that day forward. My mom is convinced that it was her mother's way of telling her that everything is okay now. I tend to be a skeptic, but I believe this is exactly what it was.

Thanks. I didn't tell anyone about if for a long time and it took me even longer to admit calling the number back, because I thought that people would think that I was silly...or not believe me. Then I decided that I didn't care what they thought. The incident, whatever you want to believe about it, was special to me.
