I said 8-4 and The Outback Bowl in the beginning. I'm sticking with it.

Huge win for the Cats today...Book your tickets for Nashville. :thumb:

When was the last time a UK team went to 3 straight bowl games? Have they ever won 3 straight? I'm guessing never, since they have just 7-8 bowl wins ever, correct?

Say Kentucky loses out and goes 6-6. I very highly doubt they would not get into a bowl, but would they really get back into the Music City Bowl? I think there are lower SEC tie-ins than that.

papajohns.com bowl in Birmingham. New SEC tie-in this year. Opponent would be from the Big East.

They actually went to three straight bowls in 1950 orange bowl 1951 sugar bowl and the 1952 cotton bowl and winning back to back only in 51,52 season and the 2006 and 2007

For UK not to be in Bowl wouldnt it take going 6-6 with Tenn, Arkansas, Miss State, Ole Miss and Auburn all winning out? We have wins over Arkansas and Miss state so ill assume they would have to win 7 games to knock us out.

Rick Bozich wrote an article in the paper last week about how if UK and UL played again things may be different. I feel confident saying that UK would take care of business again, much like they were able to get the W today.

That's what I'm thinking. I would almost guarantee it. :thumb:

(And I'm fine with that, btw!)

I don't think the SEC is going to get enough eligible teams (especially with Auburn's loss today). I think UK will make it to Nashville by default.

This was a great win and I think we will win 2 of 3 and head to Atlanta. We will beat Vandy and Tennessee. I say that almost every year but I really think this is the year to beat Tennessee.

As you should be. :thumb:

That would be huge, but its tough to predict it. I feel the same way and actually feel like we will compete with UGA, but we'll see.
