I said 8-4 and The Outback Bowl in the beginning. I'm sticking with it.

I think Carolina is headed to the Outback Bowl...just my guess.

With one more win I think UK can punch a ticket to the ATL and CHick-Fil-A Bowl.

I don't think that the Cats are an automatic for a bowl even with the 6 wins. I would love to see it but U.K. needs another one to make sure.

Good win for the Cats, on the road with several injuries.....I'll take it every time.:thumb::thumb:

The Cats are a lock for a bowl game.

I find it hard to believe they would pass on the Cats since they travel so well. Any trip within 12 hours and they will come out in force.

I find it hard to believe they would pass on the Cats since the SEC isn't going to have 9 teams qualify for a bowl game :thumb:

Congrats and keep winning.

I'd kinda like to go to a different city this year. There's only so many music city bowl trophies a man can handle.

Great win for the Cats. The Special Teams came up big yesterday. Still need some work but 6-3 looks really good right now.:dancingpa

I don't think the SEC is going to get enough eligible teams (especially with Auburn's loss today). I think UK will make it to Nashville by default.

If I'm in charge of the Music City Bowl. I take my home town team. Can't see the Cats in Nashville this year if Vandy is available. Which they should be.

Vandy still has to get another win, don't they?

I Don't think that would be a wise decision for Nashville, think of the money they would lose on Hotel, restaurant and retail sales. Locals aren't going to spend money like visitors will…

Vandy has lost something like 18 straight games over the years when trying to get their 6th win.

Here are the SEC teams and their bowl hopes:

Alabama - Eligible

Arkansas - need 2 wins out of (@USC, @Miss. St., LSU)

Auburn - need 2 wins out of (UT-Martin, Georgia, @Alabama)

Florida - Eligible

Georgia - Eligible

Kentucky - Eligible

LSU - Eligible

Ole Miss - need 1 win out of (La-Monroe, @LSU, Miss. St)

Miss St. - must win out against (@Alabama, Arkansas, @Miss)

USC - Eligible

UT - must win out against (Wyoming, @Vandy, UK)

Vandy - need 1 win out of (Florida, @UK, UT, Wake Forest)

The bolded teams should be in pretty easily. The others have a ton of work to do. That's 8 teams that should be in and the SEC has 9 spots to fill.

Vandy still has to get another win, don't they?

Yep, they play Florida, @ UK, Tennessee, and @ Wake Forrest. I like their chances against UT and Wake.
