How about Jaggers refusing to trade film with Boyle Co. Coach Larry French? Seems kind of odd to me that a Coach like Jaggers wouldn't trade film with Coach French. What's the deal with that?

I heard he's returning the same favor he got last year.

Lincoln traded films with Jaggers last year, however nobody could get ahold of Coach Jaggers till Sunday to trade films so that must not be the favor you are refering to.

I could never figure out why trade tapes on your team? I can remember my coach getting a tape on Danville from the team they played the previous week. Not from Danville. Times have changed.

Talked to the Boyle coaching staff today, they also traded films with Mercer County last year.

It's actually a rule from the coaches assosiation to trade two game tapes with the opposing team.

 

Refusing to do so is bush league in my opinion.

Who would have the advantage from not swapping tapes? Boyle's D or Mercer's O. I'm sure both teams could get tapes from other teams they have played or if not they will have to go by their scouting reports.

 

It's been some time, so I feel I can say this now. I can remember back after I got out of school Coach had me and some other past players travel to Mercer County to do the scouting report for an upcoming game with Mercer. At the half we was listening to a good Boyle/Harrodsburg game on the radio and thought....let's go and see the end Boyle game. On the way back to Danville we drawed plays on the Mercer game down on paper from listening to the radio. The week after the Mercer game coach told us that was the best scouting report he ever got.:sssh:

Just a note about Friday.If whether permitting,the Juggers will be tailgating before the game. The head jugger will be the cook, I think he's making homemade veg. soup which will be good on a cool night. You Mercer Co. fans come over and join us if you like and others as well. There will be lots of jugs sitting around the area where we all be. So you all should have trouble of finding us. It will be lots of fun, and that's what it all about.

That's the million dollar question. I heard at the Boyle JV game the other night that he was done for the year, but I don't believe that. I had thought he was coming back this Friday against Mercer, but I can't seem to confirm that anywhere. I saw his dad at practice on Monday and his mom and brother were at the JV game, but I didn't see Jordan. Does anyone know his status? Anyone?
