January 22, 200917 yr Correct me if I'm wrong but this 7th grade team has been Pouncy's best class. Others grade levels have competed but this particular (7th) grade level has been his best (Hatton, McCormick, Beal). I would have thought over the years that this team would have won state. Central KY Warriors have won this age group since 8U. So, irregardless of who wins this year, there will be a new champion. The Tarheels didn't even have a team at this age group (or at least weren't a force) until Hatton and McCormick were held back. I think that was after their 5th grade year, so they finished second to the Warriors as 5th graders and 3rd behind the Warriors and Legends last year. The 8th grade age group of Tarheels was Pouncy's best as they won state titles as 3rd and 4th graders. The Louisville Suns ended that dominance as 5th graders, then Hatton and McCormick were held back and the Tarheels finished 3rd as 6th graders and didn't play last year.
January 22, 200917 yr It's Thursday and I haven't heard from Dave at BCI. Usually I get a weekly call from him looking for teams. This is either good news that he has enough teams. Or bad news that he doesn't have enough to look for other teams. Is anybody else playing at BCI this weekend?

January 22, 200917 yr Better than hearing about the SOAS 14U league. J/K :jump: You took my post the wrong way man. I am just very confused as to who is playing with who. I am hearing a lot of conflicting things from many sources. Like you said earlier, you really cant know who is with who until they show up. :idunno: Only reason I post about the SOAS league is because there are a lot of BGPers up north here who may not post on here but are some avid LURKERS. They know who they are... Its all good. We are just bummed that the NKY Warriors have to miss the state tourney this year because of a trip to Wash DC.

Only to find out that the Warriors have owned that age division since U8.
