January 12, 200917 yr NKY Warriors 14U should get the #1 seed on the tiebreaking 9-1 record with Wolfpack. Warriors beat the Bulls earlier in the season and Wolfpack just lost tonight. But then again Warriors lost straight up to Wolfpack? hhmmmmm Coin flip?
January 12, 200917 yr Congrats on the big victory over the Pack !!! Nice finish. I wonder how the seedings are going to end up now for the tourney. Who all did the Pack have today? Any idea? I'm wondering if they will set it up with the 1 seed getting a bye? If so, this is how it could break down: 2 vs 13 3 vs 12 4 vs 11 5 vs 10 6 vs 9 7 vs 8 ??? Will be a great tournament either way...

Perry may go with the Head to head victory giving the Wolf Pack the 1 seed? If he does, you should get the 1 or 2, Flash with the 3 and Bulls with the 4 seed...

January 12, 200917 yr Anyone know who is in the 10u and 11u divisions for this tournament? I know the Wolfpack and NKY Suns are in the u11...
January 12, 200917 yr The first tiebreaker is head to head, then by points scored. That is correct. Any chance they give first 3 teams a bye?
January 12, 200917 yr Unless they have added the team recently, The Ville do not have a 13U group. Also, Clinton County and Fleming County played 12U D1 last year. From reading southernkyhoops earlier posts, I am not sure what they will do this year, but I would think Fleming County should stay D1. Plus, I would think Hoop Dreams would be involved in D1 as well. It is in no way my decision but I would not expect Fleming Co. to go D1 again. They are a straight up school team with no grade exceptions. It is and was a good experience playing the better and bigger competition but it becomes very difficult to compete. They play pretty well for a group of boys that have attended school together and known each other since they were in 1st grade and earlier and playing the better competition is a big part of that. AAU and club teams that pull from larger areas are fun to watch but I don't think Fleming would get much out of it at this point. There will be some pretty darn good teams playing D2 as well and I think they will provide more than enough of a challange.

January 12, 200917 yr Brown, Mays, Meiman, Barnes, Racke, and the kid from Gallatin Pretty formidable lineup. Racke and Brown didnt do much against the Warriors. Meiman and Pavy hit some nice 1st half shots. Barnes' only damage to the Warriors was a big 3 pter in OT that was key. The GC kid played very well but also was prone to making some turnovers. That is a very good team with a lot of balance. Mays wasnt at the game with the Warriors and he would have added more of a perimeter threat.
January 12, 200917 yr Any updates on the tournament at Midwest Hoops in Cincinnati this weekend? How was the experience?
January 12, 200917 yr I know the Wolfpack and NKY Suns are in the u11... Any word if Omega or lexington Blaze will be in the 11u?
January 12, 200917 yr Any word if Omega or lexington Blaze will be in the 11u? Omega will not be at the tourney. Have no idea about the Blaze..

He hit the big three pointer in the beginning of overtime play to help seal the victory against your warriors and caused the warriors to make turnovers if anything. They are way less of a threat to the Wolfpack than the Bulls are. Hope to see you all in the tournaments. :fight: Edited January 12, 200917 yr by gcbballdad added a sentence
January 12, 200917 yr Any updates on the tournament at Midwest Hoops in Cincinnati this weekend? How was the experience? A little unorganized but overall it was a good weekend. We got exactly what we wanted, fair competition at a reasonable price. It was nice as a KY team to be able to stay close to home and get to play some new teams. It seems like at BCI and some other tournaments in KY that we keep playing the same teams over and over lately. We will definitely go back to Midwest Hoops.
