Knicks had opportunity to put it away but the Flight kept fighting back... They've come a long way since first coming together... Should be interesting how the rest of the session and tourney go for them...

Because there are 13 teams in the 14U league the Knicks and Flight are not on the Warriors regular season 10 game schedule. After seeing both teams although I think the Warriors would win I think they would be competetive games. IN fact 5 of the 6 victories have all been competetive and that is all we ask for really. I like the parity in that league and that is why we jumped back into the SOAS league.

At this point the top seeds are looking to be the NKY Wolfpack and NKY Warriors. I dont believe there are any other undefeated teams. I know the Wolfpack/Warrior matchup is the Warriors 10th game later this month on the 28th. Both teams could be 9-0 going into that one for the top seed.

Flight beat the Knicks by 1 tonight.

Website at SOAS is reporting Knicks won over Flight 46 to 42.

Also, Wolfpack (Meiman) vs. Old Spice game was never played. Anybody have details on that?

We are playing at the KBA this weekend in the 10/u division but as of today they don't have enough teams. This will be the only tourney before the state tournament at the KBA. Some of you northern Kentucky folks give them a call and get in! [email protected] 859-219-8677

I don't know why they don't do more at the KBA. Seems like a waste of a good facility. Maybe they get enough leagues and such there to pay the bills that they don't need to fool with tournaments or other AAU events.

I spoke to the coach of the Cincinnati Knights this weekend and they informed me that someone in their organization is helping with the new management at Sports Plus in Cincinnati. They are really going to start doing it up. Hopefully this will give Dave at BCI some pressure to clean up his act. Check out http://www.midwesthoopsonline.com.

U10 NK Wildcats are going to Hoops this weekend. We didn't know anything about the KBA tournament until last weekend. I have parents wanting to go Christmas shopping in Lville, so that is why we are going there. If they don't get enough at the KBA, go to Hoops and play for free.

It looks like Sports Plus (based on their website) is really try to make things first class! Can't wait to see the outcome!

Pouncy of the Tarheels told me the new owner was determined to make this work and to be first rate. He said he is trying pull in some of the top teams in the counrty over the summer months. Should be a great place to get ready for nationals at.

Looking at the http://www.sportsofallsortsky.com website -

Alot of parity in the 8th grade division!

Warriors and 8th grade (Meiman) Wolfpack are both undefeated. There are alot of good teams in that division it seems - Warriors, Wolfpack, Flash, Raptors, etc..........

7th grade (Geiman) Wolfpack got their first victory, replacing the woeful Thunderhawks, after what looks like some close calls.

Perry might actually be doing something right at the SOAS?????:dancingpa

I agree I think it is attracting better teams. Dont forget its the Winter season. You start getting into the spring/fall and you get a mix of ages and competition but overall its very solid this Winter. Still the same old faces refereeing the games I also noticed :p

Anybody at the BCI this weeked?

Omega 5th is supposed to be playing but as of Thursday night, we don't have a schedule and Dave hasn't returned our calls. I know this is like beating a dead horse but there has to be a better option. I only hope that the new management at Sports Plus is better organized and can offer events on a frequent basis at a fair price.

I haven't been to BCI a lot but it sounds like a nightmare. My son's team played there once this season and it was an alright tourney. I can't believe he won't call you back.
