November 30, 200817 yr Omega Flight 6th grade 12u team were the runner up in the NKU 7th grade division. Two Rivers Titans were the tournament champs. The flight battled to the end in the championship losing 56-46. Two Rivers was very quick, very big and very strong. Great job to all Flight players who played their hearts out against an older and superior 7th grade team. Great job Flight!
November 30, 200817 yr NKY Flight won both tournament games today.. Keep in mind the Flight beat the 7th grade team in the 3:00 game after the 7th grade Wolfpack played the 8th grade Wolfpack (who was undermanned and missing a few players) in the 2:00 game. The back to back seemed to really hurt them in that 2nd game.
November 30, 200817 yr Has anyone heard about the strong field that is in the upcoming Lewisburg Lions Club 5th grade tournament? Omega, Wolfpack, Mason County, team from Lexington, a very good young Bracken County team,Clark County,etc. Am surprised the field is so strong, very small gym with limited parking. When is the tournament?

There were conversations about 2 different tournaments that had 2 different teams named Flight (Omega and NKY).

December 1, 200817 yr NKY Flight beat the Royals by 6 Bulls beat OldSpice by 2.. Bulls Held on to win late... Spice missed layup at buzzer. Bulls just didn't click tonight with their shooters... They got much needed help from bench points (Labare). Free throws determined the game, Bulls missed a handful and got out rebounded on the offensive glass...

Heard most of the boys were still miffed about the prank that was pulled earlier...guess we'll see if it carries over! I'm guessing Highlands couldn't have picked a better time to come into Summit to knock them off Tuesday!!
December 1, 200817 yr Wolfpack over the Outlaws by 30 at SOAS tonight. Yep.. There were two kids playing for the WP I wasn't familiar with. It also looked like the WP 7th grade beat The Knicks but I don't have the exact score.
December 1, 200817 yr One of the 2 boys was my son. He hasn't been able to play every game with them due to school practices. The other was a kid named David that plays at R A Jones and could not play for a while because his school coach would not allow him to.
