On this we can agree:thumb:! Also, not saying they are not good teams, I just didn't think either played particularly well last night as was indicated by the score. I too have seen every team on numerous occassions.

Certainly wasnt their best performance as both teams turned the ball over in crucial situations late in the game.

Anyone know of any tourneys the weekend of 1/10-1/11? Thanks

Any reports from Lewisburg?

Don't see anyone coming within 20 points of the Lexington Blaze: tall, lean and athletic, they beat Mason and Bracken by 35 points each. Omega is big,but slow, no shooters, Bracken goes 6-26 from the foul line and misses way too many inside shots or they beat Omega by 20. Didn't see Wolf Pack as they were put in the weak pool with several small teams

Sounds like sour grapes to me..That was probably the worst game Omega played all year and beat Bracken by 9..Blaze beat Omega by 30 tonight. From what I understand this team made it to the semi-finals of D2 Nationals last year.. They didn't have three of their starters tonight either..

If Omega is an all-star team, they certainly haven't shown me anything in the 2 times have seen them play Bracken County(who is just a small county school that starts 2 4th graders). They beat Bracken by 5 the first time they played them this year and 9 today and both times atrocious free throw shooting was the difference in Bracken not winning by double digits. Omega should have played the Blaze tonight, haven't watched Wolf Pack, but wish them and the Omega All-Stars luck.

I take back that the Wolfpack will beat this team. Especially if their three starters show up tomorrow..

Actually they are the Omega Rhinos not All-Stars..We don't try and go out and get the best kids around for the most part. These kids have all played together for three years..Not an All-Star team by any means...:thumb:

My bad then Raiderbird, have always seen them wrote on brackets and such as the Omega All-Stars, if not the best from certain areas, they certainly go 10 deep, all big and athletic. My point is Bracken County plays 6 players and 2 starters are legit 4th graders, they won 4 tourneys last year(one was a season ender at Scott County) and would think teams like Omega and Blaze would have their way with them(Blaze did), even Mason County has enough kids to field 3 teams and their A team lost by almost the identical score to the Blaze today.

6 of the 9 kids on Omega go to two schools..

Any results from the BCI this weekend? Any scores?

Does anyone have any results from last nights LewisburgTournament pool play and how the Tournament sets up for this afternoon? I think Bracken County is out in Pool A and Mason County 3 is out in Pool B. Should be Blaze,Omega, Mason County 1(Pool A). Wolf Pack,Panthers,Clark County(Pool B).

7th grade wolfpack beat the lexington panthers by more than 20.

then played right after that beating the northern kentucky wildcats by 19.

sunday, the wildcats lost to the pack by 20.

Mason beat Lexington Panthers in a close one. Omega beat Clark by 11. Blaze beat Mason by 18 or so. Omega then lost to Wolfpack by 8 setting up a Wolfpack/Blaze championship. Should be a good one.
