Presidental Debate #2

Featured Replies

McCain provides no specifics, but he is responsive to the questions. I just don't like most of his answers.

Obama has not answered a single, solitary question, save the healthcare question. Its as if he decided in advance to pull a page from the Palin School of Debate Response.

Here's the big difference w/ this election. People like me who support McCain will say when they are against something he says. Nothing O says or does is wrong to his supporters. They just won't admit that he's not the most perfect person everywhere.

McCain just snubbed Obama's handshake attempt.

Yeah, it was classy...

I couldn't tell if it was that, or that he had already moved on to talk to wave or shake hands with someone else. I thought that Obama played it well...he moved to shake hands with Mrs. McCain.

I just rewound the DVR to double check... He seemed to be looking at him as Obama's hand was held out, and just turned away.

Yes, we hear RTS speak against McCain a lot.

And, for the record, Obama isn't themost perfect person.

But McCain did slap him on the back.

It was a slip actually... He was thinking about beating him, and pulled back right before contact was made to make it seem like a friendly tap.

So one. There are quite a few people on here who support McCain as the lesser of two evils. I almost threw up in my mouth when he said he wanted to spend additional money to buy down bad mortgages, but I can't get past a lot more of O's stances on issues.

I think McCain could be an excellent movie narrator. Watch out Morgan Freeman if he doesn't win.

I'm not going to vote for either one of them, for the record. I just like to watch and make observations.

This was probably a push. Even the guys on the right-hand side of the CNN commentators aisle (Bill Bennett, etc.) are saying that it was no better than a tie, which doesn't help the candidate that's 6 or 8 points down with four weeks to go. Probably no needed bounce for the McCain ticket.

Which issues do you not agree with, and what don't you agree with?

I have some issues with which I disagree with Obama, but there are some very issues on which I agree with him very strongly.

diese debatte war entsetzlich langweilig

Was your wine of choice Gewurtzminer?

The Obama campaign has seized on McCain calling O "that one" and not calling him by his name.
