October 9, 200818 yr I guess what bothered me most about the debate was Sen. McCain stating the following: "I'll get Osama bin Laden, my friends. I'll get him. I know how to get him. I'll get him no matter what and I know how to do it. But I'm not going to telegraph my punches, which is what Sen. Obama did. And I'm going to act responsibly, as I have acted responsibly throughout my military career and throughout my career in the United States Senate . " Does anyone else have a problem with this? Am I the only one who wonders why this information hasn't been passed on to the President, the military, etc? This would be acting responsibly. I suppose we could give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he has indeed imparted this information to the powers-that-be, and that his advice has either been ignored, or acted upon without positive results. I saw a special on Biography last night that said McCain graduated 5th from the bottom in his class at the Naval Academy and that he was a party boy. Not a convincing factor in deciding who to vote for, but when you say you've always been responsible - you open yourself up.

October 9, 200818 yr I'm not voting for either now as well, but how in the world can you say that with a straight face when you were an ardent Palin apologist and McCain supporter (even if it was just in spite of Obama)? The more I found out about them, the more I disliked them. I've never liked McCain, my support for him was merely because of his opposition. I do think Palin is an "up and coming" politician who I do like, but not enough to vote for the guy that wants to buy up all our country's bad mortgages....

Agreed....but how can you be so condescending (as your post indicated) to say that you can't believe America has been "hoodwinked" when you yourself were "hoodwinked" two weeks ago.

I've seen the light.... In all seriousness, if that's how it came across, I apologize. I just can't believe I fell for their garbage for as long as I did.
