October 8, 200818 yr :laugh: No, just conquering the French tonight. That should take all of 5 seconds and a pack of firecrackers. Light em up and watch the white flags fly. Anyone know why they can't shoot off fireworks at Euro Disney any more?
October 8, 200818 yr If they base their vote on something as trivial as that they need to stay home. :thumb:Exactly what I was thinking.
October 8, 200818 yr McCain's done. He simply cannot overcome what has transpired under GWs watch. And believe it or not plenty of undecideds are swayed by these debates. Throw in Sewards folly, and I just can't see McCain being able to pull it off.
October 8, 200818 yr Thank you John McCain. I am very happy with the outcome of this debate, Obama nailed it in so many ways. McCain started to crack and his actions clearly showed that. By caliing Obama "that one" hopefully did the damage I believe it may have. My Wife, my Mother and my Father have all been undecided until tonight. As we were watching, my Mother said rewind about the same time my Wife did, and when we heard "that one" again, I believe it was at that moment they saw the light. They all are now voting for Obama. :dancingpa I really don't believe it will have that much of an effect around here, but around the Country it could of been the end for McCain. And as the results of the debate are rolling in, it sure looking like Obama is 2-0That one? That's what did it for them? Wow, important issue there. For the life of me, I can't see why that would upset anyone even slightly let alone be the reason to not consider someone any longer. :creepy:
October 9, 200818 yr It's really sad that we have people in this country that are getting hoodwinked into voting for either of these clowns...

Seems like you thought that was an issue... Doesn't matter, he should have been smarter than that in the first place. It was too soon after Palin's comment about lipstick and it will anger some women voters. He needs to think things through a little better. Maybe McCain "should have been smarter" and "thought things through a little better".
October 9, 200818 yr It's really sad that we have people in this country that are getting hoodwinked into voting for either of these clowns... And who is your person your voting for?:irked:
October 9, 200818 yr Bob Barr... At least you do vote. I get mad with people who agrue and trash the Candidates and don't vote.
October 9, 200818 yr At least you do vote. I get mad with people who agrue and trash the Candidates and don't vote. I was voting for John McCain until about two weeks ago. Then things changed, so I have to cast a vote for the guy most in line with my beliefs.
October 9, 200818 yr I was voting for John McCain until about two weeks ago. Then things changed, so I have to cast a vote for the guy most in line with my beliefs. I agree go with whomever you agree with. :thumb:
October 9, 200818 yr If you don't mind, RTS, I'm going to quote you on what you said in regards to Obama and his "lipstick on a pig" soundbyte. Seems like you thought that was an issue... Maybe McCain "should have been smarter" and "thought things through a little better". You seem very confused. Did I say that this is why I was going to vote for McCain? NO! All I said is it will anger some women voters, never said that would be the deciding factor for them. So, with all due respect, your point is pointless.
October 9, 200818 yr At least you do vote. I get mad with people who agrue and trash the Candidates and don't vote. I really don't understand this line of thought either. I McCain and Obama were the only two on the ticket is not your right to not vote for either if don't agree with either?
October 9, 200818 yr It's really sad that we have people in this country that are getting hoodwinked into voting for either of these clowns... I'm not voting for either now as well, but how in the world can you say that with a straight face when you were an ardent Palin apologist and McCain supporter (even if it was just in spite of Obama)?
October 9, 200818 yr I guess what bothered me most about the debate was Sen. McCain stating the following: "I'll get Osama bin Laden, my friends. I'll get him. I know how to get him. I'll get him no matter what and I know how to do it. But I'm not going to telegraph my punches, which is what Sen. Obama did. And I'm going to act responsibly, as I have acted responsibly throughout my military career and throughout my career in the United States Senate. " Does anyone else have a problem with this? Am I the only one who wonders why this information hasn't been passed on to the President, the military, etc? This would be acting responsibly. I suppose we could give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he has indeed imparted this information to the powers-that-be, and that his advice has either been ignored, or acted upon without positive results.
