Well, it is a college town, while I'm pretty far removed from the nightlife scene, Im pretty sure it exist.

 

Everyone I know that goes to WKU travels to Nashville for nightlife... Not that there isn't any in BG, but it can't be that great. :lol:

I'm not familiar with the facilities at WKU, so I didn't know they were on the level with UofL. :thumb: But my question was also directed at attractions not related to football.

There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shopping etc. in BG

WKU's facilities, stadium, parking etc are very good and it's smack in the middle of campus, very nice field and stadium and after the expansion is complete it should be just as nice as Papa Johns

Well, it is a college town, while I'm pretty far removed from the nightlife scene, Im pretty sure it exist. Mamouth Cave, Lost River Cave, etc are all pretty close. Corvette Museum.

 

 

I really don't care one way or the other as I don't annual attend the state finals, but I think it is rediculous to act like Bowling Green couldn't handle the event.

You live there. Of course it's not nearly that bad to you. I consider myself pretty good at navigating, and I still get flipped around in Louisville.

I think scheduling conflicts with UL and the Big East will make the KHSAA take a long look at this.

 

As far as the "nothing to do in Bowling Green' arguement goes, 75% of the people who go to the finals go watch the game and then come home. Why should the KHSAA cater to 25% of the people and worry about stuff outside of the game itself. I don't think the KHSAA is going to factor in whether the people from Louisville have enough places to drink and dance after the games are played.
