That's rural Marion County, northwest of Lebanon and southwest of Springfield, where there should be plenty of land on which we can build the stadium that'll satisfy everyone, along with the basketball arena for the Sweet 16s, the track, the baseball/softball complex, etc.

 

Not much nightlife, although nearby Lebanon does have a few beer joints that are, shall we say, colorful. And if you want something of a higher class, maybe you can get a free sample sip at the Maker's Mark distillery just down the road.

Barring something happening that the Finals HAVE to be moved from PJCS, I dont see any other venue in the state hosting them (or a reason for it to be moved). UK would be an obvious substitute, if only they had turf.

I think that's the main reason why. The Big East and UL may not leave the KHSAA with a choice.
