I look for Raceland to win 5 or 6 and maybe a playoff game.

I look for Letcher Co. Central to win anywhere from 7 to maybe even 10 games. (excluding playoffs)

Boyle County will be 7-3 in the regular season. Maybe 2-3 playoff games.

Belfry 9-1 Regular season and anywhere from 3-5 playoff games.

Not to jinx them, but I look for Belfry to go straight to Pappa Johns do not pass go. Keep in mind I have been wrong before.

As for my team, Boyd County, I'll say 7-3 or 8-2, and 2 maybe 3 in playoffs with the right breaks.

I believe Fort Campbell has the potential go 10-0 or 9-1 in the regular season and make a return trip to Louisville, but there are 6 teams on the regular season schedule that I think have a shot at beating them. Only time will tell.

Male may go 10-3 or 11-2 depending on a few big games.

Fern Creek to loose only to Male and win a couple of games in the playoffs, so 11-2 also.

I look for Boyle Co. go 7-3 in reg.season with losses to Henry Clay,Danville and Lexington Cath.

Looking at our schedule, Lynn Camp could be looking at a .500 season at 5-5 for the regular portion. Could play their way as high as 7-3, but it is a fairly well packed schedule with at least 2 tough district games. I hope I am wrong and the season plays out better, but we'll see.

I predict the Birds to go to state and win. There may be a hiccup or two (i.e. Colerain) but no one in 5A will touch them once they get their rhythm.

Agreed.:thumb:

I think McCreary County will have their 1st ever winning season. They should win 6 games and with any luck maybe 1 more! Anything after that would be God given.

Not disagreeing with you Stat but just wondering...are you not believing the hype that the 08' Rams have been getting? Why only five or six games?

I'm not sure if this is to be considered bait or you have privy to injuries that we know nothing about. Barring injuries, I say Raceland wins 12 on their way to their first State Championship in school history.........a man can always dream:lol:
